The Trojans managed to strike first despite arriving late due to mechanical issues with their bus. Solvi Bjornsson scored to put the Trojans up at half 1-0.

Steward struck quickly in the second half to even the score, only to have Bjornsson score again midway through the frame to give the Trojans the 2-1 advantage. The home team though wouldn’t go quietly as they sent a long ball in, with less than 2 minutes left, that Jonathan Stringfellow was able to bury to again tie the score. The game went into OT and in the first OT, Solvi Bjornsson was clipped in the box after receiving a pass from junior Max Rinaldi. The foul resulted in a PK that Solvi Bjornsson calmly slotted in, for the eventual game winner, and his third goal of the game. Bryce Behm was outstanding in the net for The Trojans with 8 saves, a couple of which were point blank.

Next game for WA, home against Woodberry Forest at 430pm.
