Curtis Ray Henley, Sr., 79, died on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 at MCV after a brief illness.
He was a native of the Eastern Shore of Virginia and a resident of Poquoson for 42 years.
Curtis was a sheet metal mechanic working for ADVEX for 12 years and then Phillip Morris, retiring in 1999. He served our country in the U. S. Air Force straight out of high school for four years, and was a member of the Poquoson Masonic Lodge.
Curtis was preceded in death by his sisters, Joyce Bloxom and Janet Thomas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Tina Henley; sons, Curtis Ray Henley and wife Judy, and Keith Thomas Henley; and grandchildren, Lacy, Savannah, Evan, and Carson.
A visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 15, 6:00-7:00 PM, immediately followed by a memorial service led by Pastor Davy Saunders, all at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home, Poquoson.
