James City County has announced its final Fourth Friday concert of the summer.

Virginia Beach-based musician Jesse Chong will perform Aug. 26 at Jamestown Beach Event Park.

According to a news release from the county, Chong is known for his musical versatility and has been compared to Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley.

Admission is free and doors open at 5:30 p.m. Free parking is available on site. Chong will take the stage at 6:30 p.m. Jamestown Beach will remain open to patrons during the concert and will follow its regular operating schedule.

According to the release, there will be food available for purchase from food trucks and beverage sales — including assorted beers — will also be available. Proceeds benefit the United Way of Greater Williamsburg. Wine will be provided by the Williamsburg Winery. No outside alcohol, pets or large, plastic coolers will be permitted at the concert.
