York County residents who have Department of Motor Vehicles transactions on their to-do list will have a convenient way to check that box.
The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles will make a stop at the Yorktown Library from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2. It’s part of the DMV2Go mobile office program, which makes regular stops in York County and across the state.
According to a press release from York County, DMV2Go is a “full-service office on wheels” that conducts DMV transactions that would typically have to be done at a DMV office. This would include applying for or renewing driver’s licenses, ID cards and Veterans ID cards, which may be issued if the veteran supplies a copy of their DD214.
The Yorktown Library is located at 8500 George Washington Memorial Highway in Yorktown.
