Sherman Lee Moore, 61, of Williamsburg, Va., passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Saltville, Va., on Sept. 8, 1954, to Edith Irene and Robert Lee Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Sherman loved spending time with his family (and grand-dogs) as well as racing, baseball and antiquing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Pamela Kish Moore; two children, Megan Moore (Jason Charles Thomas), Cameron Lee Moore (Kasey Lynn Lyerly); one grandson, Tyson Lee Thomas; one nephew, Brett Varboncouer; two sisters, Barbara Moore (Paul), Linda Arrington (Joe); two nieces, Robin Chadwick (Jimmy), Crystal Arrington (Bryan Housel); and many other loving members of his and his wife’s families.
A visitation will be at 10 a.m. and a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Bucktrout Funeral Home, 4124 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, Va.
