Rosemarie “Rosie” Haggerty, 76, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer.

Rosie made many friends and touched many lives throughout the years waiting tables at Andy’s Pancake House and the Lightfoot Pancake and Steak house. Everybody loved Rosie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ida Wright, her brothers, Anthony, Sonny, and Joey, and her sisters Lucille and Barbara.

Rosie is survived by her husband, Robert Haggerty; her children, Donna Montone (Ernest) and Robert Haggerty, Jr. (Heather); her grandchildren Annette Crispin, Greg Stengel, Chris Stengel, Bryan Stengel, Jordan Dickens, Rylan Haggerty and Mason Haggerty; her sisters, Marge, Nancy, Sandra and Linda; her brothers, Mike and Kenny; several great-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will hold a private memorial at Williamsburg Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
