The Greater Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance is getting ready for its 15th annual Chamber Challenge Golf Tournament.
This year’s competition will tee off at 8 a.m. on Aug. 8 at the Blue Heron Course at Ford’s Colony Country Club. This event includes a captain’s choice format, drinks on the green, lunch, awards and prizes.
In addition to featuring an earlier tee time than in previous years, the 2016 Chamber Challenge will also include more on-course challenges to add another element of fun and competition to this year’s festivities, according to a recent press release from GWCTA.
Registration forms are due by July 22 and space is limited. Individual registration is $150, registration for foursomes is $500.
Numerous sponsorship opportunities for the tournament are also still available to local businesses. Sponsorship levels range from $175 to $600 and include hole sponsors, keg on the green sponsors or drinks on the green sponsors.
Sponsors get special recognition at the event, signs or a booth at the holes, acknowledgment in weekly emails and “a day to network with other attendees in a fun event that is a favorite among Chamber members,” according to the press release.
