The second day of Bruce Hornsby and the Virginia Art Festival’s Funhouse Fest promises music lovers a line-up of musically diverse performances, drawing on multiple musical traditions and styles.

The June 25 concert kicks off with world-reknowned drummer Jack DeJohnette, accompanied by Matt Garrison and Ravi Coltrane. Railroad Earth and Colvin & Earle will also take the stage. Both acts have a long history of collaboration with Hornsby and a storied reputation in the music world.

Saturday’s portion of the three-day festival, which will take place on the lawn at the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, will close out with Hornsby, who is an investor in WYDaily’s parent company, Local Voice, and his band the Noisemakers performing songs from “The Way It Is” and “Rehab Reunion.”

“We’re playing our newest record in its entirety and our oldest record in its entirety,” Hornsby said in an exclusive interview with Local Voice founder and CEO Tom Davis.

Gates open at 1 p.m. and performances begin at 4 p.m. Click here for more information about the festival and to purchase tickets.
