The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) recently opened a new store in Yorktown.
The newest ABC Store – the Commonwealth’s 359th – is located at 201 Tradesman Way, in a multi-use retail development called Nelson’s Grant.
The 2,664-square-foot ABC store is the third in Yorktown and one of five in York County. It will offer more than 1,000 products, including 216 bourbon items, 234 vodka items and a wide selection of Virginia-made wine and spirits, according to a Virginia ABC press release.
“Virginia ABC is excited about expanding our retail presence in York County,” Painter said. “This beautiful, free-standing location will also serve travelers who are visiting the attractions in the Yorktown area, such as the battlefield and Riverwalk, and allow them to explore our Virginia spirit offerings as well.”
The store’s regular hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
