All three Williamsburg-James City County high schools will host arts events Thursday evening to showcase the work of some of their visual and performing arts students.

Jamestown and Warhill high schools will host end-of-year art art shows from 6 to 8 p.m., while Lafayette’s show will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. All three shows will feature works created by student artists throughout the 2015-2016 school year.

Warhill High School’s ninth-annual “Fine Arts Show & Sale” will include a gallery presentation of student art works across varied media. The event will feature a senior showcase, light refreshments and a photo booth based on the famous Grant Wood painting, “American Gothic.”

Jamestown High School and Lafayette High School will also stage their annual fine arts nights, both of which will include a visual arts showcase and performances by the school’s performing arts students, including theater, choir, band and orchestra.
