Mrs. Diane Creech Dennis, 60, of Yorktown, formerly of Albany, Ga., passed away at her home on Friday, May 20, 2016. Born July 6, 1955, in Eustis, Fla., Mrs. Dennis was the daughter of the late Charles Clevie Creech and Lucille Hall Creech.
She was a homemaker and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She attended Bethel Holiness Church in Putney, Ga., and loved to spend time with her family. In her earlier years she enjoyed working in her yard and had a great love for her dog, Chewey.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dennis was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Lee Dennis.
Survivors include her children, Wyndall and Lisa McGuire of Albany, Ga; daughters, Angela Dust and Shaun of Yorktown, and Snooker and Ryan Asselin of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; brothers, Charles, Leland, Adrian, Roy and Jimmy Creech; sisters, Christine Helms, Carolyn Blizzard and Shirley Barajas; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, at Bethel Holiness Church, 4621 Radium Springs Road, Albany, Ga. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 25, at Covenant Life Church of God, 706 Urick St., Fruitland Park, Fla. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. in Astatula Cemetery, County Road 48, Astatula, Fla. Pastor Noah Phillips will be officiating services.
