Patrick E. Callahan, 67, of Williamsburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, with his wife, Suzanne, and some of his loving family members by his side.

Born in Baltimore, Md., on August 14, 1948, to Dr. Joseph F. and Jane C. Callahan, Patrick has gone to join his parents and his elder brother, Joseph, in heaven. His sisters, Charlotte and Kathleen; brother, Terry; and uncle, James Criswell will be attending his funeral service at Nelsen Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, to honor his memory.

Patrick’s career took a different path from what he originally planned when he went to Villanova University, Rutgers University, and finally to Southeastern Massachusetts University for his MBA in 1982. Planning to be a teacher like his other family members, career choices arose that moved him into the energy conservation field instead.

Surviving Patrick are his loving wife of 33 years along with his extended family of four children, Deborah L. Mowry, David Brandon Treat, Taylor Rowe Treat and Nansea R. Eye; as well as nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all members of his family since they meant the world to him.
