The No. 1 doubles match was underway with Smithfield leading 5-0 before the event was canceled. The No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches were not started.

Bruton Rolls Past Heritage

Bruton earned a commanding 8-1 road win against Heritage on Monday.

Heritage, who fields a small roster, had to forfeit at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, as well as No. 6 doubles.

With Bruton holding a 3-0 advantage before the first match was played, the Panthers won three of the remaining four singles matches to secure the victory.

Bruton (6-5) will host Poquoson on Tuesday with the goal of stringing together back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
