Lafayette was able to give bench players valuable playing time as the Rams cruised to a 3-0 win at home against Menchville on Wednesday.

The Rams scored their first goal of the game midway through the first half when Thomas Pogue sent in a cross that was hit into the net by a Menchville player.

Menchville’s own goal gave Lafayette a 1-0 halftime lead.

The second half started with Tobi Yanez taking a pass from Matthew Beatty and blasting a shot over the keeper’s head from roughly 30 yards out.

Gavin Arsenault logged the final goal of the game, finishing a corner kick from Beatty to give the Rams a 3-0 victory.

With the win, Rams goalkeeper David Domalski earned his fourth shutout victory of the season.
