Leah Tyson scored four goals en route to Tabb defeating Smithfield 5-1 on the road Monday evening.

Tyson scored her first goal in the third minute off an assist from Ali Brewer. Tyson went on to score two more goals in the half, one coming off an assist from Abby Jerowicz.

Also adding a goal in the first half for Tabb was Jerowicz, who scored in the 24th minute off an assist from Abby Heckler.

The Packers scored a goal in the second half to cut into Tabb’s lead, but Tyson’s fourth goal of the game, coming off a booming punt from Tigers goalkeeper Taylor Carr, put the game out of reach.

Tabb (8-1) faces a tough home game on Thursday against York.

The Eagles posted a 2-0 lead by halftime, which grew by three more goals in the second half en route to the blowout victory.

Jamestown (6-2) will have a three-day break before resuming its season at home against Bruton on Friday.

A pair of second-half goals lifted Hampton Roads Academy to a 2-1 road win against Cape Henry.

The Navigators fell behind 1-0 in the first half after Cape Henry’s Sarah Smith scored an unassisted goal. The Dolphins took that 1-0 lead into halftime.

Lindsay Kovalcik and Kendall Schroder both found the back of the net in the second half for HRA, lifting the Navigators to the comeback victory.

HRA (9-1) will host Walsingham Academy on Tuesday.

Lafayette snapped a three-game losing skid on Monday as the Rams took down Grafton 5-3 at home.

The Rams tied their best offensive output of the season against the Clippers with five goals. Conversely, Lafayette’s five goals marks the most goals allowed by Grafton this season.

Lafayette (2-3) will try to continue its winning ways on the road against Bethel on Wednesday.

Grafton (3-4) faces a quick turnaround as the Clippers will travel to play New Kent on Tuesday.
