York continued its unbeaten start to the season by defeating Lafayette 8-1 on the road Tuesday.

The Falcons swept singles play against the Rams, but did face some challenging sets at No. 2 and No. 6, which went to a third-set tiebreaker.

Lafayette’s Andrew Williams and Davis Hatcher combined to sweep York’s Thomas Bert and Britt Hill 8-0 at No. 3 doubles.

York (4-0) will visit Bruton on Thursday, while Lafayette (3-2) will look to snap a two-match losing streak on Thursday on the road against Grafton.
