Capriccio Ristorante, an Italian restaurant serving New York-style pizza, pasta and hoagies celebrated its grand opening in New Town earlier this month.
The restaurant is located in the former Hogarth’s Bar and Bistro, which closed in January.
Owner Neal Clarke said the first few weeks of business have been “amazing.”
“What I love about this town is the best advertisement is word of mouth, and it’s just taken off,” Clarke said. “It’s awesome.”
Clarke said the most popular order is pizza, followed by lasagna. Dishes range in price from $8.95 for a hoagie to $22 for a New York strip steak.
Live music is featured on the patio Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Local performers play a variety of music, but Clarke said he aims to book acoustic music Saturday nights for a more mellow sound.
Capriccio Ristorante is located at 5201 Center St. in New Town. The restaurant is open from 3 p.m. to midnight Sundays through Wednesdays and 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursdays through Saturdays.
