The City of Williamsburg is soliciting nominations for the annual Business Appreciation Award.
Each year, the city’s Economic Development Authority recognizes a business for making the city “a better place to live, work and visit.”
Last year, Chesapeake Bank won the award, joining past winners such as Ace Hardware, Sal’s by Victor, Aromas and Blue Talon Bistro.
Anyone can submit a nomination, but businesses must have a physical presence in the City of Williamsburg, employ less than 100 people and have been open for at least five years to qualify for the award.
