Boys Soccer Roundup: Trott Scores Four in Lafayette Rout of Kecoughtan

Reeves Trott and Jason Eckenrode lifted Lafayette to a comfortable 6-0 home victory against Kecoughtan on Monday.

The Rams, who conceded just one shot on goal to Kecoughtan, were paced with a masterful performance by Trott, who posted four goals to go with an assist.

Not to be outdone, Eckenrode added a pair of goals and three assists in the victory.

The Rams held a commanding 5-0 halftime lead, tacking on a second-half goal to close out the win.

Lafayette (2-1) will face its toughest test of the season when the Rams play a road game against Princess Anne on Thursday.

Grafton Blows Out Bethel

Grafton had little trouble taking down Bethel during a 7-1 rout at home on Monday.

The seven-goal performance proved Grafton’s best during the still young season.

Grafton (3-1) will look to continue its strong start March 28 at home against Denbigh.
