James City County and Kingsmill Resort are offering county children an opportunity to have their creativity and artwork displayed during the 2016 “Tee” Design Contest for the 2016 Kingsmill Championship.

County residents ages 5 to 12 may submit t-shirt designs that will be printed on t-shirts given to participants of the 2016 Junior Clinic on May 21 during the Kingsmill Championship. The winner will also receive a prize package from Kingsmill Resort.

Designs should incorporate aspects of golf, James City County and the LPGA. The designs must also be in landscape layout and use no more than five colors, with a black outline suggested.

All designs must be submitted with an entry form, of which there are three: REC Connect participants (entry form No. 1), private school students (entry form No. 2) and James City County residents (entry form No. 3). Each for has specific directions on how to drop off entries.

Entry forms can be downloaded by clicking here and must be submitted by April 1.

All entries from a school should be turned in to the school’s designated contact. Resident entries can be turned in to the lobby of Building D at the County Government Center at 101 Mounts Bay Road.
