Grafton teed off on Menchville in the first inning and never looked back during a 9-3 road win on Thursday.
Jessica Sprouse put Grafton on the board in the top of the first inning when she scored on a passed ball.
Later that inning, Kayley Cox smacked an RBI single that brought home Becca Hallingstad, who earned the win in the circle for the Clippers, to make the score 2-0.
Lauren Washburn reached based on a Menchville error late in the first inning that allowed Cox and Hallingstad to score, giving the Clippers a 4-0 lead.
Menchville scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the third inning to cut into Grafton’s lead, but the Clippers responded with three runs in the top of the fifth inning.
Tara Deck, Hallingstad and Cox hit three consecutive RBI singles in the top of the fifth inning that put Grafton in a comfortable position with a 7-2 lead.
With a healthy lead in hand, Grafton was able to coast through the final two innings for the victory.
Grafton (2-0) faces a quick turnaround as the Clippers prepare to travel to Bruton on Friday.
