Jamestown lost its second consecutive match of the season, falling 8-1 at Deep Run at home on Wednesday.

The Eagles were swept in singles play and were only able to claim a victory in the No. 3 doubles matchup.

Jamestown (0-2) will turn its attention to a road match against Cosby on Monday.

Warhill Falls to Mathews

Warhill was overmatched at home against Mathews on Wednesday, losing its first match of the season 8-1.

The Lions were nearly swept in singles play, with Warhill’s No. 5 Jackie Jones the only player to win a match.

While Warhill was competitive in doubles, Mathews walked away with wins in all three matches.

Warhill (1-1) will look to rebound during a road match against Hopewell on Monday.
