Langley Federal Credit Union recently donated $10,000 to Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg through the Langley For Families Foundation.

The Langley For Families Foundation has distributed more than $75,000 to local organizations that focus on family issues in the Hampton Roads area, according to a recent press release from Langley.

The Foundation, which operates outside of Langley Federal Credit Union’s existing charitable giving structure, places particular focus on issues relating to healthcare, housing, human services, safety and security and financial education.

The $10,000 donation to Hospice House will go to support the residential hospice and bereavement services offered there to terminally ill patients in Williamsburg, James City County and York County, and their loved ones.

Other organizations included in this round of donations from the Foundation are EDMARC Children’s Hospice, LINK and the Peninsula Agency on Aging.
