Seven Historic Triangle girls basketball players – four from Tabb and three from York – were named All-Conference 27 selections Monday.

Two local players earned first-team All-Conference selections: Tabb’s Imani-McDowell-Jarmon and Madison Van Dyke of York.

McDowell-Jarmon, a senior forward, was a key factor in Tabb’s regular season in which the Tigers posted a 19-2 record. Meanwhile, Van Dyke was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise disappointing season for York, which went 2-17 this season.

Three other Tabb players – Tamia Smith, Brianna Harper and Madison Clemons – were named as Conference 27 second-team selections.

Two other York players – Emma North and Hayley Winfree – also earned second-team All-Conference honors.
