A local woman was recently recognized as McDonald’s 2015 Crew Person of the Year for the Baltimore/Washington Region for her six years of dedicated service at the location on Second Street.
Wanda Cooper was chosen from employees at more than 700 McDonald’s restaurants because of her “continued commitment to outstanding customer service” and “consistently going above and beyond to make each customer feel special,” according to a recent news release.
Cooper is well known in the drive-thru for “providing an exceptional experience,” the release goes on to say, and regular customers at that location would routinely ask for her to wait on them by name.
McDonald’s of Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina owner and operator Frank Harmon and next generation owner and operator Kyle Harmon were on hand to present Wanda with her award and show their appreciation for her dedication to providing top-notch service and true value to McDonald’s.
“The Crew Person of the Year Award recognizes the important role frontline workers play in delivering customer satisfaction to McDonald’s customers every day,” Frank Harmon said. “We’re proud to applaud Wanda for the outstanding service she delivers to our local customers every day.”
