Joseph John Dombrowski, 84, active member of St. Olaf Catholic Church

With heavy hearts, the family of Joseph John Dombrowski, of Williamsburg, VA, announces his passing on January 19, 2016 at the age of 84.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene M. Dombrowski and his father, John Dombrowski. He is survived by his loving wife Janet Dombrowski, his daughter Jennifer Holliday and son-in-law Brent Holliday.

He graduated from the Eastern Michigan University, and after working for the U.S. Air force for five years, he later retired from the Department of the Navy where he worked as a contracting officer. He was an active member of St. Olaf Catholic Church, in Williamsburg, VA. His hobbies included reading, sports, and travel. He was a member of the VFW and Optimists International.

A visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2016 at Nelsen Funeral Home, Williamsburg, VA. Service will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Olaf Catholic Church, Williamsburg, VA on Saturday, January 23, 2016.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Williamsburg United Methodist Church Respite Program.
