VDOT Hosts Open House on Brick Kiln Creek Bridge Replacement Tonight

The Virginia Department of Transportation will host a project open house tonight to share information on a proposed bridge replacement over Brick Kiln Creek.

The open house will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at Tabb Library, located at 100 Long Green Blvd. VDOT representatives will be on hand to answer questions and explain project exhibits that will be on display.

The proposed project includes replacing the northbound bridge and rehabilitating the southbound bridge over Brick Kiln Creek on Magruder Boulevard.

Residents can submit oral or written comments regarding the project during the open house. Individuals who cannot attend the open house should send their comments no later than Feb. 1 to Mr. Samba Secka, P.E., Virginia Department of Transportation, 1700 North Main Street, Suffolk, Virginia 23434.
