Armani Franklin logged a rare triple-double for Williamsburg Christian Academy during Friday’s 57-18 drubbing of Broadwater Academy at home.

Franklin led the way for the Eagles with a phenomenal 22 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals.

As for the rest of WCA’s team, the Eagles had little trouble overpowering Broadwater Academy. The Eagles built a 20-point advantage after the first quarter, in which they eclipsed Broadwater’s game total for points.

By halftime, WCA held a commanding 32-6 lead over Broadwater.

The second half prominently featured reserve players for WCA, but that did not stop the lead from growing. The Eagles outpaced Broadwater by eight points in the third quarter and five points in the fourth quarter during the easy win.

WCA (6-2) will host Isle of Wight Academy on Monday looking to extend a three-game win streak.
