Six Historic Triangle swimmers put their skills to the test during the 2015 Speedo Winter Junior Championships that ran Dec. 9 to 12 at Georgia Tech.

The Speedo Winter Junior Championships allow top junior swimmers from across the nation to compete against each other in hopes of swimming personal best times.

Swimmers also have the opportunity to improve times enough to qualify for the Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb., which will take place June 26 to July 3 and allows swimmers to compete for a spot in the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics.

Four swimmers competed for the Coast Guard Blue Dolphins, while another two represented 757Swim.

Jared Norton of Coast Guard Blue Dolphins had the best overall finish of any Historic Triangle swimmer, placing 11th overall in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:59.88 and 23rd overall in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 56.81.
