The Williamsburg branch of Chesapeake Bank is pleased to announce the hire of Ben Ellington as vice president and regional commercial loan officer.
Ellington attended the University of Georgia for his undergraduate degree and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
Since that time, Ellington has acquired more than 11 years of experience in the commercial banking industry.
He currently serves as secretary for the Greater Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance Membership Committee, board member and treasurer of the Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center, member of the Historic Triangle Group, member of the James City County Strategic Planning Advisory Group and Boots to Business program lecturer at Joint Base Langley-Eustis.
He is a graduate of the 2014 class of the LEAD Historic Triangle program.
