Robert Horvath, 59, longtime special education teacher

robert horvathRobert Horvath, age 59, of Williamsburg, VA passed away on December 2, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Elizabeth Horvath.

Robert worked as a high school teacher for 29 years and also an Adjunct Professor at The College of William & Mary. He taught Judo for 29 years and was a special education teacher who touched a lot of lives.

Robert was also involved with different programs for kids helping to succeed after high school.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Patricia Horvath; his son, Tyler Horvath; his brother, Mike Horvath; three nephews; three nieces; three sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; numerous cousins and aunts; other close family; and numerous friends who will all miss him dearly.

A visitation will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. December 5 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. December 6. Interment will be private at a later date.
