C-SPAN will feature tours of the Governor’s Palace and the Capitol building as well as interview segments with historians, curators and historical interpreters during a live broadcast from 11 am. to 3 p.m.
The Colonial Williamsburg program will re-air at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. Dec. 5 and again on Christmas Day at noon and 8 p.m. on C-SPAN3.
Aboard the Campaign 2016 bus, visitors can learn more about C-SPAN’s programming, test their knowledge of the branches of government and try out an app that allows users to explore potential presidential candidates, events and footage from the campaign trail.
Before parking on DoG Street, the bus will stop by Warhill High School and Berkeley Middle School for student tours on Friday.
C-SPAN3 is available on cable television to Cox customers on channel 93. Local television providers like Cox Communications partner with C-SPAN to support its operating costs and finance bus visits, according to the release.
