She has served as a board member and chairwoman for Child Development Resources, a member of the Board of Visitors at William & Mary, a board member of the Children’s Museum of Richmond and co-founder of the Historic Virginia Land Conservancy.
Hornsby has also volunteered with Massey Cancer Center, Habitat for Humanity, Williamsburg AIDS Network, An Achievable Dream and ALS Foundation.
Speakers at the award presentation ceremony Nov. 9 included Warren West, Worshipful Master Williamsburg Masonic Lodge, Executive Director of Child Development Services Paul Scott, Executive Director of the Historic Virginia Land Conservancy Caren Schumacher and City of Williamsburg Vice Mayor Paul Freiling.
The Masonic Lodge is pleased to recognized Hornsby for the “magnitude of charitable contributions she has made over the years,” according to a recent news release.
