Tribe Football to Host Duquesne in NCAA Playoffs First Round is your source for free news and information in Williamsburg, James City & York Counties.


After claiming a share the Colonial Athletic Association title, the William & Mary football team will host Duquesne in the first round of the NCAA FCS Playoffs at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday, current season ticket holders will be able to log into the “My Account” page of to renew their same seats for NCAA playoff games.

Season ticket holders will have until 6 p.m. Tuesday to purchase their tickets to guarantee their same seats. After that, all remaining seats will be available for general public sale. General public sales will begin 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Ranked 13th nationally in the final STATS FCS Poll, W&M won six of its final seven games en route to posting an 8-3 record overall and a 6-2 mark in league play.

Duquesne earned an automatic bid in the playoffs be virtue of winning the outright Northeast Conference title. The Dukes posted an 8-3 record overall and a 5-1 mark in the NEC. Among its losses was a 17-14 setback against CAA member Albany in late September.
