Virginia Venom is preparing to host the first Colonial Classic Volleyball Tournament in Williamsburg in February, a tournament the organization plans to hold annually.
Matches during the Colonial Classic will be played Feb. 13 and 14 at Quarterpath Recreation Center.
The winners of each age division that has at least 10 teams competing will receive free entry into the Atlantic Coast Grand Prix in Virginia Beach held April 30 and May 1.
The Colonial Classic will have four age groups for girls – 13/14U, 15U, 16U and 17/18U – and two for boys – 13/14U and 15/16U.
The entry fee for the boys teams are $250 and $350, respectively, while all girls teams hold an entry fee of $350. Space in the Colonial Classic is limited to 48 teams, so teams looking to compete should register as soon as possible.
The Colonial Classic is open to the public, which can watch all the action unfold throughout the weekend for $20.
