Alejo B. Falcon, of Yorktown, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at the age of 75.
Mr. Falcon was a native of San Benito, Texas, a former resident of Sterling, Illinois and Harlingen, Texas and a resident of Yorktown since 2011. He was a retired crane operator and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Sterling, Illinois.
Alejo enjoyed playing pool since he was about 12 years old. He won numerous competitions, including the last tournament of the year at the Fun-N-Sun RV Park in San Benito, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret Falcon and a brother, Reynaldo Garza.
He is survived by his daughters, Denise Hairston (Benny), of Yorktown and Elizabeth Cantu (Lupe), of Sterling, Illinois; son, Alex Falcon (Katie), of Harlingen, Texas; brothers, Manuel Falcon (Janet), of Hawaii and Roy Falcon (Julie), of Sterling, Illinois; sister, Virginia Rascon (Jesus), of Sterling, Illinois; grandchildren, Natasha VanDeusen, Samantha Hernandez, Jacqueline Gonzales, Natalie Cantu, Eric and Wyatt Falcon, Chris Hairston and Dhanita Hairston; and great-grandchildren, Davone Hernandez, Tamia Williams, Kayleana and Tristan VanDeusen, Bella Henderson and Davonte and Malique Bullock.
Alejo wished for cremation and for no services.
