Jim Kennedy Forum 102115Three candidates vying to represent residents in the Stonehouse district will attend a meet-and-greet in Wellington Estates this weekend.

The event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Wellington Estates clubhouse.

In attendance will be Jim Kennedy, the incumbent Stonehouse representative on the James City County Board of Supervisors; Jim Nickols, the incumbent Williamsburg-James City County School Board member for Stonehouse; and Brandon Waltrip, the challenger, an independent, running for the District 96 seat in the Virginia House of Delegates.

Heath Richardson, a member of the Wellington Estates Homeowners Association, said although it was the vision to have all Stonehouse candidates in attendance, Kennedy’s challenger, Sue Sadler, and incumbent Del. Brenda Pogge said they could not attend. He said he has not heard from Holly Taylor, Nickols’ challenger, about whether she can attend.

The clubhouse is located on Bournemouth Bend in James City County.
