The James City County Board of Supervisors will discuss its strategic plan with a consultant for the first time during a work session Monday afternoon.
The meeting, which will take place at 1 p.m. Oct. 19 at the James City County Government Center, Building F, will be a gathering of supervisors and a consultant from Clarion Associates, the firm that will assist the county in developing its strategic plan.
The meeting is open to the public.
In August Greg Dale, a Clarion representative, told WYDaily it would take a year to develop a draft of the strategic plan, which county officials hope will inform decisions affecting the future of James City County.
The government center is located at 101 Mounts Bay Road.
The work session will be televised live and a video from the meeting will be posted online.
