General contracting company Branscome Incorporated will remain at its current location in James City County after its headquarters at the Busch Corporate Center was sold earlier this month.
In an email to WYDaily, Andy Dallas, first vice president of commercial real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, wrote Branscome would be unaffected by the change in ownership.
“The property was purchased as an investment income producing property. Therefore, it was the appeal of the Tenant staying in the building that made the purchaser buy the building,” Dallas wrote.
The 15,000-square foot building, located at 432 McLaws Circle, was purchased by Atlantic Leasing Associates, LLC for $2,514,760 as an investment, according to a news release from Thalhimer. The previous owner was Leebcor Properties at McLaws, LLC.
Established in 1956, Branscome has been contracted to complete highway and development projects throughout the Peninsula, including roadway improvements in the City of Williamsburg and the construction of New Town.
