Jamestown’s volleyball team swept Grafton 25-16, 25-19, 25-21 on the road Thursday.
The Eagles won the first two sets handily, 25-16 and 25-19. Grafton made the third set closer, but ultimately saw Jamestown close out the match 25-21 to remain undefeated in Bay Rivers District play.
Maria Esch led Jamestown with a double-double of 11 digs and 10 kills, while Maggie Viniard had 14 assists and nine digs. Emma Schriner contributed a team-high 13 kills.
For Grafton, Rachel Blitt led the way with 10 kills and nine digs, while Kaitlyn Young chipped in 21 assists and five digs.
Jamestown (11-1) will host York on Tuesday, while Grafton (8-5) will host Smtihfield on the same day.

Warhill Takes Down Tabb
The Warhill volleyball team won its third consecutive match Thursday, defeating Tabb on the road 25-16, 25-23, 25-18.
Behind strong play from Cori Clifton, who finished with 16 assists, nine kills and five digs, Warhill was able to cruise to a commanding 25-16 first-set win.
The second set proved to be a different story as Tabb traded points with the Lions. Despite their efforts, the Tigers still fell in the second set 25-23.
Leading 2-0 in the match, Warhill managed to secure the win by topping Tabb 25-18 in the deciding set.
Warhill (5-3) will travel to take on Bruton on Tuesday, while Tabb (2-5) is looking to end a two-match losing streak when they visit Poquoson on Tuesday.

Lafayette Rolls Past Bruton
Lafayette had no trouble defeating Bruton at home Thursday night, cruising to a 25-7, 25-23, 25-14 win.
The Rams took the first set with little effort 25-7 and began playing some reserve players against the Panthers.
Bruton gave Lafayette a more competitive second set, which the Rams won 25-23, but were unable to keep pace in the third set 25-14.
Lafayette (6-3) is in the middle of a two-match win streak and will look to extend it on the road against New Kent on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Bruton (2-8) is looking to snap a two-match losing skid when it hosts Warhill on Tuesday.

HRA Falls to Trinity Episcopal
The Hampton Roads Academy volleyball team was unable to keep pace with Trinity Episcopal during Thursday’s 25-15, 25-23, 25-19 road loss.
While the Navigators put up a tough fight in the second set, they were unable to pull out a set win during the sweep.
Meghan Lee led HRA (5-8) with 11 kills, while Kendall Schroder added 22 digs. Rhett Deverich chipped in 27 assists during the loss.
HRA will continue its season Oct. 1 at home against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy.
