The James City Clean County Commission and the Virginia Peninsula Clean Business Forum recently awarded the Williamsburg Pottery with the Clean Business Award for the third quarter of 2015.

Kim Maloney and Peter Kao accepted the award on behalf of the Pottery at a county event at Hot Stacks Pancake House in Lightfoot.

The Williamsburg Pottery was chosen to receive the award based on its “tremendous beautification improvements” on Route 60, according to a recent news release from the county.

The county also praised the Pottery for contributing to a clean environment by recycling paper, cardboard and printer cartridges on site.
