Kathleen ‘Kitty’ Hough Viccellio, 92, United Daughters of the Confederacy past president

Kathleen “Kitty” Hough Viccellio died Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at the age of 92.

Kitty was a native of Norfolk and a York County resident since 1959. She was an active member of Grace Episcopal Church, a former vestry member, member of the Altar Guild, a member the Comte de Grasse Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a past president of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, James Henry Viccellio Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Kate Hamaker, of Williamsburg and Jane Keith and her husband Bob, of Dallas; son, Hank Viccellio and his wife Leslie, of Yorktown; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, at Grace Episcopal Church officiated by the Rev. Constance M. Jones and the Rev. Kathleen M. Bobbitt. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with the reception being held at the church social hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Grace Episcopal Church Outreach Fund, 111 Church St., Yorktown, VA 23690.
