WATA Ramps Up W&M Bus Service As Students Return to Town

WATABusNewWith college students back in town, the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority will be resuming its Green Line service at 10 a.m. today.

The Green Line has stops at Ludwell Hall Apartments, Morton Hall, the Campus Center, the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, Merchants Square, the Sadler Center, Williamsburg and Monticello shopping centers, the William & Mary School of Education, William & Mary Hall and the Commons Dining Hall, making it a crucial service for getting around the College of William & Mary’s campus.

The Green Line will operate on a new time schedule for the 2015-16 academic year. The service runs 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to midnight Friday, 10 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.

The scheduled time points along the routes will remain the same as it runs its schedule regardless of the day of the week, providing a 30-minute frequency to passengers.
