Johnny QuoVadis Wright, known as “Chip” or “Johnny Q,” of Williamsburg, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, at the age of 60.

He was born on April 27, 1955, and was a lifelong resident of Williamsburg. He was the beloved son of QuoVadis Williams Wright and the late John P. Wright.

He was preceded in death by his sibling, Shawn Wright.

Johnny is survived by his sons, Eric Pridgen and Jonathan Wright; brothers and sisters, Johnsie Holloway, Jonathan (Carol) Wright, Juan (Ruth) Wright, Johnella (Glen) Carter, John Wayne Wright, Johann (Alizé) Wright and Johnas Wright; aunt, Sarah Belpree; uncle, Sammy (Brenda) Wright; admired and dedicated cousin and friend, Rayford Parrott; 17 nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and dear friends.

A visitation was held Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, followed by a service.
