Two armed men attempted to rob four people in a York Terrace home last week but left empty-handed, authorities said.
The four occupants of the home on the 1100 block of Wilkins Drive “secured themselves” in bedrooms when the armed men entered the home around 12:20 a.m. July 14, according to a July 20 Facebook post from the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.
No injuries and no shots fired were reported.
Though two men reportedly entered the home, five people were arrested July 15 in connection with the incident. The suspected roles each played in the incident has not yet been disclosed.
YPSO arrested York County residents Willie Bernard Rose, 23; Sylvester Edward Langley, 28; Kaniqua Shaquan Perrin, 24; and a 16-year-old juvenile who is not being named due to his age. Gloucester resident Charles Elliott Brooks, 28, was also arrested.
Rose, Brooks, Langley and the juvenile have all been charged with burglary, attempted robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Rose, Brooks and Langley were also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Perrin was charged with burglary, attempted robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
