Mary Lee Mepham, of Williamsburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, July 17, 2015, at the age of 82.

Born in Crisfield, Maryland on Sept. 13, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Satie Glass Lawson and the late John Henry Lawson. Mary Lee graduated from Crisfield High School. In 1952, she received her RN degree from Buxton Hospital in Hampton and after 30 years of service retired from Eastern State Hospital.

Mary Lee was knowledgeable in Bible scriptures. She enjoyed going to Bible conferences, reading, studying the scriptures and studying about Bible prophecy.

In addition to her parents, Mary Lee was preceded in death by her brothers, John W. Lawson and George H. Lawson.

She is survived by her children, Judy Joyce Mepham, of Grafton, Myron Dean Mepham, of Tennessee and George Michael Mepham, of Kansas; sisters-in-law, Cleda Lawson and Mako Lawson;  and niece, Susan Lawson.

There will be a graveside funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Tabernacle Memorial Cemetery, adjacent to the Tabernacle Methodist Church in Barhasville with the Rev. Robbie Worsham officiating.
