Ten Historic Triangle Athletes Selected to State All-Star Games

The Virginia High School Coaches Association is hosting its annual All-Star games this week with 10 Historic Triangle athletes making the cut in their respective sports.

Volleyball and baseball drew the most Historic Triangle selections with four and three players making the rosters, respectively.

Boys and girls basketball was played Monday at Lynchburg College, while softball was played Tuesday at Liberty University. Baseball will be played at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Liberty University.

Girls and boys soccer will be played Wednesday at Lynchburg College at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., respectively. Football and volleyball will be played Thursday at Liberty University.

Football: Thursday, July 9, Williams Stadium, Liberty University, 7:30 p.m.
Basketball: Monday, July 6, Lynchburg College, 6 p.m. (girls) and 8:30 p.m. (boys)
Baseball: Wednesday, July 8, Liberty University, 7 p.m.
Soccer: Wednesday, July 8, Lynchburg College, 5:30 p.m. (girls) and 7:30 p.m. (boys)
Softball: Tuesday, July 7, Liberty University, 10:30 a.m.
Volleyball: Thursday, July 9, Liberty University, 2:30 p.m.
