Hospice House and Support Care of Williamsburg has a new executive director.
Audrey B. Smith has been named to fill the spot left vacant by Linda Taylor Stallings’ retirement after 32 years with the organization.
Smith has served as the executive director of Advancement for Hampton Roads Academy in Newport News since 2007. Prior to that, she held the positions of Associate Vice President of Advancement at Christopher Newport University, Executive Director of Council for America’s First Freedom in Richmond and co-founder of CommonWealth Consulting Group in Williamsburg.
“We are confident that Audrey will be a very strong leader as we continue the traditions of compassionate care for those facing end of life, and the support of their families and friends through the many services we offer,” said Dave Kilgore, chairman of the Board of Directors.
Smith will assume her new position Aug. 13.
