He honorably served his country for four years in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, for 35 years. William was a humble person who loved the Lord with a kind heart and soft-spoken voice. He will be greatly missed.

The family is grateful for a longtime friend, Mr. Ron Hill and the Langley Air Force Base Commissary, who have stood by their side during this difficult time, as well and the staff in the emergency department of Sentara Hospital of Williamsburg.
