The College of William & Mary is testing its emergency notification system at 12:15 p.m. today.
The drill will include tests of the college’s 120 decibel campus-wide siren system and mass notification messaging system.
The siren system is located above several buildings around campus: the Integrated Science Center, the William & Mary Law School on South Henry Street and the School of Education building at Monticello Avenue and Treyburn Drive.
During a real emergency, community members who hear the siren can find additional information at the William & Mary website. Emergency news updates will also be available through the college’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
